Verdi Learn is led and managed by Katrina Bevan who has an extensive systems training and operations background working within legal.

Verdigris Consulting was founded in 2017 and we help UK law firms with a variety of strategic and operational projects. From PMS and Case Management system selections to project management or project team mentoring of a new system, CRM and marketing projects, conveyancing team troubleshooting and process improvement. We often are retained long-term for general ops and strategy support. Firms find that we are especially useful for IT to Business translation!

Katrina Bevan is also a Director of Verdigris. Katrina’s in-practice background is in conveyancing and she spent several years as Operations Manager for a volume conveyancing firm in Cheltenham.  Her role involved running the training academy, recruitment, and carrying a small caseload to keep up to date with conveyancing. On the operations side, Katrina’s role was to ensure a constant review of process and volumes to deliver a smooth and efficient service meeting all stringent SLA’s.

Katrina then moved to Ochresoft to manage the Solicitor-led training and project management team delivering the SaaS-based workflow platform for Conveyancing and Private Client teams.  She took a very practical approach and personally implemented, trained and continued to support over 120 law firms. Katrina also delivered process improvement consultancy to firms who needed assistance in dealing with compliance, staffing and profitability challenges facing consumer law teams today.

Katrina offers a deep understanding of end-user (specifically lawyers and support staff) interactions with business systems, the most effective classroom training methods and how to achieve a smooth go-live after introducing a new IT platform.

Katrina’s long term background in legal systems training means that she is Head of Verdi-Learn.

Pauline’s offers law firms a broad consulting skill-set from strategic reviews, marketing projects to operational process improvement and nearly everything in-between apart from finance!  She has worked with many hundreds of law firms from high street, multi-office regional, high volume and top 30 law firms.

Her career in legal began in 2001 with top 250 supplier Axxia and Visualfiles managing large law firms, and within LexisNexis after their acquisition. Pauline was a Director of a Conveyancing and Private Client workflow company from 2015-2015. Most recently, she held the role of European Consulting Director at BT Tikit running the large law technical, project office, and training teams delivering Carpe Diem time recording, iManage and NetDocuments. Pauline also gained an MBA from Henley Business School in 2016.

Given her long tenure in legal technology, she is familiar with many practice and case management systems, e-Marketing/CRM, time recording, document management, cloud-based software/hosting and outsourcing models in general.

In 2018 Pauline also founded the digital publishing and collaboration network  Calico Legal Solutions Group and a marketing agency for law firms and suppliers, Ink Legal.
